Suggested maintenance intervals

The following are suggested vehicle maintenance intervals to ensure that your vehicle performs at it's best. It is always a good practice to consult your owners manual and follow the manufacturers guidelines.

  5,000 kilometer

10,000 kilometer

20,000 kilometer

5,000 Km - Check the following...
  • brake fluid level
  • brakes
  • tire pressure and wear
  • wheel lug nuts
  • engine oil level
  • automatic transmission/transaxle fluid level
  • windshield washer fluid level
  • radiator coolant level
  • power steering fluid level
  • manual transmission slave cylinder fluid level

10,000 Km - Check and perform the following...
  • brake fluid level
  • brakes
  • tire pressure and wear
  • wheel lug nuts
  • manual transmission fluid level
  • automatic transmission/transaxle fluid level
  • windshield washer fluid level
  • radiator coolant level
  • power steering fluid level
  • battery terminals for buildup of corrosion - remove terminals, clean, and reconnect them
  • radiator and heater hoses for cracks and leaks
  • tighten all clamps
  • wiper blades for wear and damage
  • check and clean air filter
  • change oil and filter
  • inspect and lubricate front suspension

  • front wheel drive axle boots
  • differential fluid level
  • inspect and lubricate front suspension components
  • inspect ignition wires, rotor and distributor cap
  • change oil and filter
  • change air filter
  • change manual transmission/transaxle fluid
  • change differential fluid
  • drain, flush, and fill engine coolant system
  • change PCV valve
  • change fuel filter
  • spark plugs
